Race Kit Pick-Up
In order to pick up your race kit, you must meet your fundraising goal. This amount is $100 per person(teams or individuals) and $50 for Little Muckers. If you have not set up your online fundraising page yet, here is the link to do so ONLINE FUNDRAISING MUD AND SUDS or ONLINE FUNDRAISING LITTLE MUCKERS. If you would rather collect manual pledges here is the link for a MANUAL PLEDGE FORM MUD AND SUDS or MANUAL PLEDGE FORM LITTLE MUCKERS. You can do whichever you like, or a combination of both. We have some amazing Top Fundraiser Prizes!
Race Kit Pick Up Times at Copperfin Credit Union NEWEST LOCATION (1102 Carrick Street)
Friday, June 16th 12 Noon until 7pm
or Monday, June 19th Noon until 7pm
There is plenty of parking at Mount Baldy and parking is free for participants and spectators. Please drive safely as there are lots of children in the area.
What to Wear
We encourage you to wear anything you feel comfortable racing in, it just has to be items you don’t mind getting dirty. We do, however, recommend a solid pair of running shoes, towels, a garbage bag, a change of clothes and waterproof sunscreen. For recommended gear and footwear be sure to visit Gear Up for Outdoors located at 894 Alloy Place and they would be happy to help you get geared up for the race. Please note we also encourage wearing team costumes, t-shirts, hats, etc. The more fun the better and we will have some great team costumes prizes. There will be a rinse off station for participants to use so you can clean up and enjoy the After Suds Bash when you finish your race.
Things to Bring
- Proper footwear. We recommend a lightly used trail shoe with decent tread to help get you up, over, around, and through the obstacles.
- Cash. If you feel the need to fill your belly or wet your whistle, the after suds area will have various food, refreshments and more!
- Change of clothes, towel, sunscreen and a lawn chair. We will have a bag check, so you can leave your change of clothes, towel, keys, cell phone, etc with us at your own risk during the race and retrieve after. If you’d like to hose yourself down and tidy-up before hitting the After Suds Bash, a rinse station will be available. Don’t forget your lawn chair!
- Great attitude! This will be the most fun you have all year. No outside alcoholic beverages or glass bottles allowed.
Little Mucker’s is an awesome mud, foam and obstacle race for kids 12 years of age and under (12 year old’s are also able to race in the regular event, you can decide which one would be most appropriate for them). Kids will have their own shorter course with fun obstacles, mud pits and our new addition for 2017.. BUBBLES! Older kids can do it on their own, smaller kids may need the help of a parent (we suggest that children be at least 4 years of age). Due to the size and popularity of this event, it now has its own day, Sunday, June 25th. Race times will be posted on this website a few weeks before the event.
After Suds Bash!
Be sure to stick around after the race for food, music, a fabulous shopping area, and of course some cold suds! Celebrate the accomplishments of all the great mud and suds warriors. Once the final race is complete we will be awarding team and individual prizes and the big cheque presentation of funds raised to the Cancer Society (Saturday’s Race) and Camp Quality (Sunday’s Race).
