Little Muckers

Little Mucker’s is an awesome mud, foam and obstacle race for kids 12 years of age and under (12 year old’s are also able to race in the regular event, you can decide which one would be most appropriate for them).   Kids will have their own shorter course with fun obstacles, mud pits and our new addition for 2017….BUBBLES!  Older kids can do it on their own, smaller kids may need the help of a parent (we suggest that children be at least 4 years of age).  Due to the size and popularity of this event, it now has its own day, Sunday, June 25th.  Race times will be posted on this website a few weeks before the event.

Registration

Kids can be registered as part of a team or as an individual.  If you are entering a team, be sure to complete a registration form for each child and please have the parent of that child signs the form and waiver.  Team size can be anywhere from 2 to 12 kids.

A printable version of the Registration Form is available here.

Register Online

Registrations can also be mailed to:

Keynote Events, 1603-2280 Sleeping Giant Parkway, Thunder Bay, ON  P7A 0E7

Registration is $50 per child whether they register as an individual or as part of a team.  Included in their registration price they will each receive some great Little Mucker’s swag, along with other great gifts from our sponsors in their race kits.

Fundraising

Each child is required to fundraise a minimum of $50 for Camp Quality prior to race day.  They can do this by setting up an online fundraising page, collecting manual pledges or a combination of both.

Pledges can be turned in when you pick up your race kits.  Race kit pick up times and location will be posted here as well as emailed to participants prior to the event.  Be sure to include your email address on your registration form to receive important information and instructions leading up to race day.

There will be prizes for top individual fundraiser and top team fundraiser by average (divided by number of the kids on the team to make it fair for all teams).

More Info

Costumes are encouraged, we will have prizes for best costumes!  Please be sure to wear proper footwear and clothing you don’t mind getting muddy.  A rinse station is available for cleaning up after the race.  You will want to bring a change of clothes, extra shoes, a plastic bag for your muddy items to take home, sun screen and a towel.  There is a food and beverage area to purchase lunch, drinks and snacks (you will want to bring cash for these purchases as there is no ATM machine on site).   You may also pack your own food, snacks or drinks to bring with you.  Water is available on the Little Mucker’s course and there will be a free water filling station at the race tent if you would like to bring a refillable water bottle.

The Little Muckers Course is in a spectator friendly area so feel free to invite family and friends to come out and watch, admission is FREE!
